I saw a beautiful golden-red dragonfly outside today and thought this a perfect time to post the following…I hope you dig it and ENJOY!

I had a visitor on the highway today,
an insectile Hermes who took
the time to pause, to dodge automotive artillery and
lift away the grime and muck from the day’s coming visage.
To make me aware that my day will sparkle like his wings;
to let me know that to shed the skin of the minus
is to be able to bathe in the plus.
This singular spirit,
this winged piece of eight,
turned a horror into a boon and
an expected bad day
unexpectedly spectacular.
